I'm not just a Portuguese teacher, I'm a linguist who lives between both varieties of the language every day. I began my career in Brazil, where I spent 7 years teaching Portuguese language, literature, and writing. In 2012, I moved to Europe on my own — first a brief stay in Germany, then two years in Lisbon, where I met my husband.In 2014, we moved to Germany together, where I taught Portuguese as a foreign language for over 6 years. In late 2020, we settled in Madeira, where I live and teach today. I hold a degree in Portuguese Language and Literature and I'm currently completing a Master's in Portuguese as a Foreign Language and Second Language (PLELS) at the University of Coimbra.
This journey is exactly what shapes the way I teach.
